Mazatlan Nightlife
Mazatlan is famous for it's lively and fairly inexpensive nightlife. Fiesta Land is where a lot of Mazatlan nightlife is located. Live dinner shows and entertainment are located at several of the hotels nearby. Many lobby bars are also quite popular. Every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday evenings at the Playa Mazatlan there is a Mexican Fiesta. The US$20 entrance fee includes an open bar, folk dances, live entertainment, and an impressive Mexican buffet. You won’t lack for any type of nightlife no matter what your preference. There’s everything from sports bars to karaoke bars, beach clubs and piano bars, to discos and dance bars, even midnight romantic strolls along the beaches.
There are many places with live nightlife music for dancing. Early birds might want to visit such places as Hotel Las Flores or El Cenote Lobby Bar at Royal Villas Resort where dancing to live nightlife music starts at 7 pm. Dancing starts at about the same time at Playa Mazatlán Hotel at the Terraza Playa Restaurant where you can spend a romantic evening dining and dancing to live night life music or enjoy a quiet drink under the stars while watching the silver waves breaking on the beach. You'll find country music and dancing at Casa Country. Exceptional night life in Mazatlan can be found at Señor Frogs is a lively place to spend an evening, with a restaurant and a bar showing videos, and offering lively dancing after dinner. Joe's Oyster Bar overlooks the beach and can be accessed from either side. Open day and night 'til about midnight, enjoy rock and roll with no cover charge. Pepe Toro is a gay/lesbian bar with dancing at Av. de las Garzas. There is a good night life fiesta at Playa Mazatlan on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays which includes a buffet meal, unlimited drinks, live entertainment and dancing. Starts at 7 pm and costs about 200 pesos a person. This price includes a buffet, all-you-can-drink, and entertainment nightlife. Sundays at 8:00 pm Playa Mazatlan Hotel has fireworks. Needless to say the night life in Mazatlan is endless! |
